Marking its 25th anniversary, JAM HOME MADE turns over a new leaf, launching a collection themed "25+1=NICOICHI" as its next step forward. It is a "Nicoichi" (two-into-one) collection that harmonizes elements—turning the concept of "dangerous to mix" into "wonderful when mixed"—by bringing together things that are fundamentally incompatible.
It translates the concept of "wonderful when mixed" into decorative pieces by merging incompatible "Nico" (two) elements into "Ikko" (one). This creates a unique sense of unity born from the initial feeling of dissonance—much like pairing aristocrats with laborers, upscale neighborhoods with slums, or guards with prisoners, or culinary combinations like watermelon with salt, pizza with pineapple, or potato salad with apple slices.
The Japanese word for "wonderful" (*suteki*) actually contains the character for "enemy" (*teki*).
