A fusion of leather jackets, paying homage to the original.
The original leather jacket "AG3" is now available from the Leather Collection.
This striking asymmetrical hybrid design features samples of the "A-2 Jacket," developed around 1930 as a jacket for the U.S. Air Force, and the "G-1 Jacket," developed around the same time as the A-2 for the U.S. Navy.
The Type A-2, with its basic construction, is the foundation of leather jackets, famously worn by Steve McQueen in the film "The Great Escape."
The Type G-1 resembles an A-2 with a boa collar attached, featuring distinctive action pleats at the sides.
While the wind flap behind the zipper is typically punched with "USA," the AG3 features "JAM" punching for a unique finish.
The boa around the neck and sleeves is removable, and the polished studs add a touch of class.
While the concept and design are unique, this jacket blends seamlessly into the look.
