JAM's iconic, original patterned leather products are expressed using traditional techniques. The pattern motif is "LEOPARD." Based on the theme of "JAM" (= to crush), this product expresses the "Jamunimal" technique, which uses the Inden technique to emboss multiple exotic leathers onto a single piece of tough leather to create a unique material. Based on a wallet from Inden-ya, the headquarter of the traditional Inden leather craft, the JAM wallet's identity is emphasized by the attachment part featuring a black diamond on the back, adding the personal value of precious stones unique to JAM to traditional craftsmanship. This model is a bifold wallet with a clasp-style coin purse. The coin purse, bill compartment, and card compartments are separate, making it relatively thin for a bifold wallet. The side ring is customized with JAM's original ball chain.

The harmony between the strong, soft, and lightweight deerskin leather and the lacquer, which becomes more vibrant with age, develops a unique texture that becomes more comfortable in your hand with use.

The attachment rotates 360 degrees to prevent the wallet chain from getting tangled.

One clasp pocket, one bill pocket, four card pockets

"Inden" is a leather craft that has been passed down in Koshu (Yamanashi) for over 400 years. Founded in 1582, "Inden-ya" is a long-established "Inden" store.

During the Edo period, our ancestor, Yuichi Uehara, invented a unique technique for applying lacquer patterns to deerskin. This is said to be the beginning of Koshu Inden.

In 1987, Koshu Inden was designated a traditional craft by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. The traditional Inden craftsmanship conveys the culture of rare leather crafts as a practical beauty that brightens everyday life.

Characteristics of Inden
〇 Lacquer may lose its luster if exposed to sunlight (UV rays) for extended periods.
〇 Lacquer may crack during the processing process. It may also chip or peel. The same applies if the leather is bent or scratched.
〇 Deer leather may have scratches caused by horn rubbing, but these are valued as evidence of its natural origin.
Deer leather may be damaged by rubbing or the surface of the leather during use.
〇 Because the skin properties of each piece of deer leather are different, slight variations in the color tone of the dip-dye may occur. Partial color unevenness may also occur. Deer leather may discolor or fade due to sunlight, lighting, and aging.

Cautions and Requests
〇 Since the lacquer is completely dried in a shaded room, there is little risk of rashes due to the lacquer. However, in rare cases, rashes may occur depending on your constitution. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
〇 In order to preserve the natural characteristics of the deerskin, no special color-fast treatment has been applied. Therefore, sweat, water, friction, etc. may cause changes in texture, or the leather dye may transfer to clothing.

Care Instructions
〇 If the product gets wet, do not rub it. Instead, gently pat it with a dry cloth to remove moisture and dry it in the shade. Do not use gasoline, cleaners, or wax to remove dirt or polish.

A collaboration with Inden-ya, the headquarter of the traditional leather craft "Inden."
JAM HOME MADE has created a completely original pattern. JAM's iconic original pattern leather products are expressed using traditional techniques.

Throughout its long history, Inden has produced numerous products that are in tune with the times while preserving traditional techniques. With the desire to introduce Inden to the younger generation, we create original patterns such as leopard print, anechoic chamber pattern, check pattern, and punched (dot) pattern using Inden techniques.
We add the personal value of precious stones, which is unique to JAM, to traditional craftsmanship, updating it with a modern and chic taste. Without being bound by convention, we will deliver special Inden products from a modern perspective that will be loved by more customers.
