JAM's iconic original patterned leather products are expressed using traditional techniques.

JAMHOMEMADE's original patterns have been developed through collaborations with Inden-ya. They include the anechoic chamber pattern, which incorporates the sound-absorbing frame of the "anechoic" interior wall of the first JAM store; the leopard print, which expresses the "Jamunimal" technique of embossing multiple exotic leathers and exploring materials, based on the theme of "JAM" (= crush); the checkered pattern inspired by a shogi board, born from the Tokyo store's return to its roots in Sendagaya; and the dot pattern, which uses Inden techniques to recreate the punching process, an iconic part of leather goods developed since the brand's early days.

These four patterns are arranged in a patchwork style to create a camouflage pattern.

Part of the pattern is based on the shape of Yamanashi Prefecture, paying homage to the birthplace of Inden. Based on a wallet from Inden-ya, the headquarter of the traditional leather craft "Inden," this wallet embodies the identity of JAM wallets. The back features a black diamond-set attachment part, adding a personal touch to traditional craftsmanship with precious stones, unique to JAM.

This model is a bifold wallet with a clasp-style coin purse.

The compartment is designed with all the necessary features to securely store bills, cards, and coins. The bill compartment has a divider, allowing you to store bills separately.

The interior features three pockets in addition to card pockets, keeping the wallet neat and tidy.

The clasp-style coin purse has a central divider to prevent coins from shifting and allow for smooth coin access when paying.

The coin purse, bill compartment, and card compartments are separate, making this a relatively thin bifold wallet.

The side rings are customized with JAM's original ball chain.

The harmony between the strong, soft, and lightweight deerskin leather and the lacquer, which becomes more vibrant with age, develops a unique texture that becomes more comfortable in your hand with use.

The attachment rotates 360 degrees to prevent the wallet chain from getting tangled.

One clasp pocket, one bill pocket, four card pockets

"Inden" is a leather craft that has been passed down in Koshu (Yamanashi) for over 400 years. Founded in 1582, "Inden-ya" is a long-established "Inden" store.

During the Edo period, our ancestor, Yuichi Uehara, invented a unique technique for applying lacquer patterns to deerskin. This is said to be the beginning of Koshu Inden.

In 1987, Koshu Inden was designated a traditional craft by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. The traditional Inden craftsmanship conveys the culture of rare leather crafts as a practical beauty that brightens everyday life.

Characteristics of Inden
〇 Lacquer may lose its luster if exposed to sunlight (UV rays) for extended periods.
〇 Lacquer may crack during the processing process. It may also chip or peel. The same applies if the leather is bent or scratched.
〇 Deer leather may have scratches caused by horn rubbing, but these are valued as evidence of its natural origin.
Deer leather may be damaged by rubbing or the surface of the leather during use.
〇 Because the skin properties of each piece of deer leather are different, slight variations in the color tone of the dip-dye may occur. Partial color unevenness may also occur. Deer leather may discolor or fade due to sunlight, lighting, and aging.

Cautions and Requests
〇 Since the lacquer is completely dried in a shaded room, there is little risk of rashes due to the lacquer. However, in rare cases, rashes may occur depending on your constitution. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
〇 In order to preserve the natural characteristics of the deerskin, no special color-fast treatment has been applied. Therefore, sweat, water, friction, etc. may cause changes in texture, or the leather dye may transfer to clothing.

Care Instructions
〇 If the product gets wet, do not rub it. Instead, gently pat it with a dry cloth to remove moisture and dry it in the shade. Do not use gasoline, cleaners, or wax to remove dirt or polish.

JAM HOME MADE has created a completely original pattern. JAM's iconic original pattern leather products are expressed using traditional techniques.

"Inden" is a leather craft that has been passed down in Koshu (Yamanashi) for over 400 years, and "Inden-ya" is a long-established "Inden" store founded in 1582.
During the Edo period, our ancestor, Yuichi Uehara, invented a unique technique for applying patterns to deerskin with lacquer. This is said to be the beginning of Koshu Inden.
In 1987, Koshu Inden was designated a Traditional Craft by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. Inden's traditional techniques are a way of conveying the culture of this rare leather craft as a practical beauty that adds color to life.

Throughout its long history, Inden has produced numerous products that are in tune with the times while preserving traditional techniques. With the desire to introduce Inden to the younger generation, we create original patterns such as leopard print, anechoic chamber pattern, check pattern, and punched (dot) pattern using Inden techniques.
We add the personal value of precious stones, which is unique to JAM, to traditional craftsmanship, updating it with a modern and chic taste. Without being bound by convention, we will deliver special Inden products from a modern perspective that will be loved by more customers.
