JAM's iconic original pattern leather products, expressed through traditional techniques. JAMHOMEMADE's original patterns have been featured in collaborations with Inden-ya, starting with the ANECHOIC (Anechoic Chamber) pattern, which incorporates the sound-absorbing frame of the "anechoic" interior wall of the first JAM store. The LEOPARD pattern, based on the theme of "JAM" (to crush), expresses the "Jamunimal" technique, which embosses multiple exotic leathers to create a unique material. Four original patterns have been created: the GIN""JAM"" CHECK pattern, inspired by a shogi board and born from the Tokyo store's return to its roots in Sendagaya; and the PUNCHING pattern, which uses Inden techniques to create the punching process that has been an iconic feature of leather goods since the brand's early days.

The new pattern released this time is a camouflage design that combines these four patterns in a patchwork style.

Part of the pattern is based on the shape of Yamanashi Prefecture, paying homage to the birthplace of Inden.

This model is a simple, three-dimensional, and voluminous clasp wallet.

As the name "Oyako Gamaguchi" suggests, when opened, there is another clasp inside.

The inner clasp can hold coins, while the side can hold folded bills and a few cards.

The simple clasp closure allows for easy access to bills, coins, and cards.

The ball chain on the side ring allows for customization and personalization.

The attachment rotates 360 degrees to prevent the wallet chain from getting tangled.

Also recommended as an accessory case or cosmetic pouch.

The lightweight, supple deerskin leather with a lacquer coating is durable and feels comfortable in your hand the more you use it. The unique luster deepens over time, and you can enjoy the unique lustre of each of the four original patterns depending on the lighting conditions.

Based on a wallet from Inden-ya, the headquarter of the traditional leather craft "Inden," this wallet features the identity of a JAM wallet, featuring a black diamond-embellished attachment part on the back, adding the personal value of precious stones to traditional craftsmanship.

"Inden" is a leather craft that has been passed down in Koshu (Yamanashi) for over 400 years, and "Inden-ya" is a long-established "Inden" store founded in 1582.

During the Edo period, our ancestor, Yuichi Uehara, invented a unique technique for applying lacquer patterns to deerskin. This is said to be the beginning of Koshu Inden.

In 1987, Koshu Inden was designated a Traditional Craft by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. The traditional Inden technique, a practical beauty that brightens everyday life, continues to perpetuate the culture of rare leather crafts.

Characteristics of Inden
〇 Lacquer may lose its luster if exposed to sunlight (ultraviolet rays) for extended periods.
〇 Lacquer may crack during the processing process. It may also chip or peel. The same applies if the leather is bent or scratched.
〇 Deer leather may have scratches caused by horn rubbing, but these are valued as evidence of its naturalness.
Deer leather may be damaged by rubbing or the surface of the leather during use.
〇 Because the skin properties of each piece of deer leather are different, slight variations in the color tone of the dip-dye may occur. Partial color unevenness may also occur. Deer leather may discolor or fade due to sunlight, lighting, and aging.

Cautions and Requests
〇 Since the lacquer is completely dried in a shaded room, there is little risk of rashes due to the lacquer. However, in rare cases, rashes may occur depending on your constitution. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
〇 In order to preserve the natural characteristics of the deerskin, no special color-fast treatment has been applied. Therefore, sweat, water, friction, etc. may cause changes in texture, or the leather dye may transfer to clothing.

Care Instructions
〇 If the product gets wet, do not rub it. Instead, gently pat it with a dry cloth to remove moisture and dry it in the shade. Do not use gasoline, cleaners, or wax to remove dirt or polish.

Indenya

A collaboration with Inden-ya, the headquarter of the traditional leather craft "Inden."
JAM HOME MADE has created a completely original pattern. JAM's iconic original pattern leather products are expressed using traditional techniques.

"Inden" is a leather craft that has been passed down in Koshu (Yamanashi) for over 400 years, and "Inden-ya" is a long-established "Inden" store founded in 1582.
During the Edo period, our ancestor, Yuichi Uehara, invented a unique technique for applying patterns to deerskin with lacquer. This is said to be the beginning of Koshu Inden.
In 1987, Koshu Inden was designated a Traditional Craft by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. Inden's traditional techniques are a way of conveying the culture of this rare leather craft as a practical beauty that adds color to life.

Throughout its long history, Inden has produced numerous products that are in tune with the times while preserving traditional techniques. With the desire to introduce Inden to the younger generation, we create original patterns such as leopard print, anechoic chamber pattern, check pattern, and punched (dot) pattern using Inden techniques.
We add the personal value of precious stones, which is unique to JAM, to traditional craftsmanship, updating it with a modern and chic taste. Without being bound by convention, we will deliver special Inden products from a modern perspective that will be loved by more customers.
