JAM's iconic, original-pattern leather products, expressed through traditional techniques.

The new "PUNCHING" pattern is now available on our parent-child clasp wallets.

Based on a wallet from Inden-ya, the head purse of the traditional "Inden" leather craft, this wallet features a black diamond-adorned attachment part on the back, embodying the identity of JAM wallets. It adds a touch of precious stone value to traditional craftsmanship, unique to JAM.

This model is a simple, three-dimensional clasp wallet with volume.

As the name "parent-child clasp" suggests, when opened, there is another clasp inside.

The inner clasp can hold coins, and the side can hold folded bills and a few cards.

The simple opening and closing unique to clasp wallets allows for easy access to bills, coins, and cards.

The ball chain on the side ring can be customized for a more personal look.

The attachment rotates 360 degrees to prevent wallet chains from getting tangled.

Also recommended as an accessory case or cosmetic pouch.

Two frog pockets

"Inden" is a leather craft that has been passed down in Koshu (Yamanashi) for over 400 years. Founded in 1582, Inden-ya is a long-established "Inden" store.

During the Edo period, our ancestor, Yuichi Uehara, invented a unique technique for applying lacquer patterns to deerskin. This is said to be the beginning of Koshu Inden.

In 1987, Koshu Inden was designated a traditional craft by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. The traditional Inden technique, a practical beauty that adds color to everyday life, continues to perpetuate the culture of this rare leather craft.

Characteristics of Inden
〇 Lacquer may lose its luster if exposed to sunlight (UV rays) for extended periods.
〇 Lacquer may crack during the processing process. It may also chip or peel. The same applies if it is bent or scratched.
〇 Deer leather may have scratches caused by horns rubbing against it, but these are valued as evidence of its natural origin.
Deer leather may be damaged if the surface is exposed or rubbed during use.
〇 Because the skin properties of each piece of deer leather are different, there may be slight variations in the color tone of the dip-dyed piece. There may also be uneven coloring in some areas. Deer leather may discolor or fade due to sunlight, lighting, or aging.

Cautions and Requests
〇 Since the product is completely dried in a shaded room, there is little risk of lacquer irritation. However, in rare cases, irritation may occur depending on your constitution. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
〇 In order to preserve the natural characteristics of deerskin, no special color-fast treatments have been applied. Therefore, sweat, water, friction, etc. may cause the texture to change, and the leather dye may transfer to clothing.

Care Instructions
〇 If the product gets wet, do not rub it. Instead, gently pat it with a dry cloth to remove moisture and dry it in the shade. Do not use gasoline, cleaners, or wax to remove dirt or polish.

JAM HOME MADE has created a completely original pattern. JAM's iconic original pattern leather products are expressed using traditional techniques.

Throughout its long history, Inden has produced numerous products that are in tune with the times while preserving traditional techniques. With the desire to introduce Inden to the younger generation, we create original patterns such as leopard print, anechoic chamber pattern, check pattern, and punched (dot) pattern using Inden techniques.
We add the personal value of precious stones, which is unique to JAM, to traditional craftsmanship, updating it with a modern and chic taste. Without being bound by convention, we will deliver special Inden products from a modern perspective that will be loved by more customers.
