JAM's iconic, original patterned leather products are expressed through traditional techniques.

The pattern motif is "ANECHOIC (anechoic chamber)." The pattern incorporates the sound-absorbing frame of the "anechoic" interior wall of the first JAM store, which stimulates the ears without appealing to the visual sense.

Based on a wallet from Inden-ya, the head office of the traditional leather craft "Inden," this wallet features the identity of a JAM wallet, an attachment part with a black diamond on the back, adding the personal value of precious stones unique to JAM to traditional crafts.

This model is a bifold wallet with a clasp-style coin purse.

The compartment is designed with all the necessary features to securely hold bills, cards, and coins, and the bill compartment has a divider so you can store bills separately.

In addition to card pockets, the interior features three other pockets, helping to keep the wallet tidy.

This clasp-style coin purse features a central divider to prevent coins from shifting and allow for smooth coin removal when paying.

The coin purse, bill compartment, and card compartments are separate, making it relatively thin for a bifold wallet.

The side rings are customized with JAM's original ball chain.

The combination of strong, soft, and lightweight deerskin leather with lacquer that brightens over time creates a unique texture that becomes more comfortable in your hand the more you use it.

The attachment rotates 360 degrees to prevent the wallet chain from tangling.

"Inden" is a leather craft that has been passed down in Koshu (Yamanashi) for over 400 years, and "Inden-ya" is a long-established "Inden" store founded in 1582.

During the Edo period, our ancestor, Yuichi Uehara, invented a unique technique for applying lacquer patterns to deerskin. This is said to be the beginning of Koshu Inden.

In 1987, Koshu Inden was designated a Traditional Craft by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. The traditional Inden technique, as a practical beauty that adds color to daily life, continues to perpetuate the culture of rare leather crafts.

Characteristics of Inden
〇 Lacquer may lose its luster if exposed to sunlight (ultraviolet rays) for extended periods.
〇 Lacquer may crack during the processing process. It may also chip or peel. The same applies to bending or scratching.
〇 Deerskin may have scratches caused by horn friction, but these are valued as evidence of its naturalness.
Deerskin may be damaged by rubbing or the surface of the leather during use.
〇 Due to the unique characteristics of each piece of deerskin, slight variations in color tone may occur during the dip-dye process. In addition, some color unevenness may occur. Deerskin may discolor or fade due to sunlight, lighting, or aging.

Cautions and Requests
〇Since the product is completely dried in a shaded room, there is little risk of lacquer-related irritation. However, in rare cases, irritation may occur depending on your constitution. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
〇In order to preserve the natural characteristics of deerskin, no special color-fast treatment has been applied. Therefore, sweat, water, friction, etc. may cause changes in texture, and the leather dye may transfer to clothing.

Care Instructions
〇If the product gets wet, do not rub it. Instead, gently pat it with a dry cloth to remove moisture and dry it in the shade. Do not use gasoline, cleaners, or wax to remove dirt or polish.
